Suppono

Privacy Policy  ·  Effective 26 September 2026

The short version. Suppono can be played without an account, and played that way it sends nothing anywhere. Making an account adds an email address, a username, and a record of which puzzles you have solved — that is the whole of it.

There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs of any kind in this game. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.

Who runs Suppono

Suppono is made and operated by 허정회 (Heo Jeonghoe), trading as 덕트레이드, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (business registration 787-42-01294), at 경기도 안성시 아양4로 46, 204동 302호.

For anything in this policy — a question, a correction, a copy of your data, or a deletion request — write to kmo73724@gmail.com. That address reaches the operator directly and is also the contact for data protection matters.

What Suppono collects, and why

Playing without an account

Signing in is optional and always will be. If you never make an account, Suppono holds everything on your own device and sends nothing to any server. What it keeps there is your settings, which exercises you have finished, and the cosmetic items you have collected. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

With an account

An account exists so your progress follows you between devices and so you can take part in the community feed. It holds:

WhatWhy
Your email address To identify the account, confirm it, and let you reset a forgotten password. It is never shown to other players and is never used for marketing.
Your password Stored only as a salted hash by the authentication service. Neither the game nor the operator can read it.
Your username What other players see. It appears next to puzzles you post, records you hold and votes you have cast, so choose one you are happy to be public.
Which exercises and puzzles you have solved, and when To restore your progress on a new device, and to mark in the feed what you have already played.
Puzzles you post to the feed The premises, the goal and the pieces available. These are public by design — the feed is the point of posting.
Your likes and dislikes To rank the feed. Which way you voted is visible only to you; only the totals are public.
Your shortest proof of a puzzle, if it is the shortest anyone has found To show the record on the feed, and so the number can be checked rather than taken on trust. Exactly one proof is kept per puzzle — the record-holder's — and it is readable only by players who have already solved that puzzle themselves.

Your sign-in session is stored on your device so you do not have to sign in every time.

As with any internet service, the servers Suppono talks to record technical details of each request — including your IP address and the time — in their own operational logs. Those logs belong to the hosting provider named in section 5 and are used to run and secure the service, not to build a profile of you.

Playing together on a local network

Suppono's shared sessions work over your local network only — the same WiFi — with the devices talking straight to each other. Nothing about a shared session passes through any server of ours. While you are hosting, your device announces the session on the local network, and that announcement carries your username. Players who join see one another's usernames and, being a direct connection, one another's local network addresses. Anyone already on that network can see the announcement, so treat it as you would any other device visible on your WiFi.

What Suppono does not collect

The only network permissions the app asks for are internet and local network access, which are what the account and local multiplayer described above need.

Who else sees your data

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It reaches other parties in exactly three ways:

Beyond that, data is disclosed only where the law requires it.

These providers operate internationally, so your data may be stored or processed outside your own country, including outside Korea and the European Economic Area.

How long it is kept

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. When an account is deleted:

Server logs held by the hosting provider expire on that provider's own schedule, which is a matter of weeks.

Your rights, and how to use them

You may ask to see the data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to receive a copy in a portable form. Where the GDPR applies you may also object to or ask for a restriction of processing, and you may complain to your national supervisory authority. Where Korea's Personal Information Protection Act applies you may exercise the equivalent rights under Articles 35 to 37 and may raise a dispute with the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972).

To delete your account, open Account from the pause menu in the game and choose Delete Account. It happens immediately — nothing is queued and nobody reviews it — and section 6 says exactly what goes and what stays. If you cannot sign in, email kmo73724@gmail.com from the address the account uses and it will be done within 30 days, with a note confirming it; asking from the account's own address is how such a request is verified, and if you no longer have access to that address, say so and another way to confirm will be arranged. There is a fuller walkthrough at suppono.com/delete-account.

You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. Doing so does not affect anything done before the withdrawal, and the game remains fully playable without an account.

Keeping it safe

All traffic between the game and the server is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes and cannot be read by anyone, including the operator. Access to the data is enforced by row-level security at the database, so the rules about who may read what — your email and your votes being yours alone, a puzzle's solution being readable only by someone who has already solved it — are applied by the database itself rather than trusted to the app.

No system is perfect. If you believe an account has been compromised, or you find a way to reach data you should not be able to, please write to the address above.

Children

Suppono is a logic puzzle game, not directed at young children, and an account requires a working email address. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (Korea) or under 13 (United States, and where equivalent rules apply). If you believe a child has made an account, write to the address above and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date before it takes effect, and a material change will be announced in the game. Continuing to use an account after that date means the revised policy applies.
